What this does

Explains how handles, hinges and locking parts are chosen for each sash — from rules, not typed per order.

Before you start

  • The window has its sashes and profile series set.

Steps

  1. 01
    Each sash is measured and weighed from the drawing.
  2. 02
    The hardware brand and series configured for the profile system select a matching set.
  3. 03
    Rules pick sizes — hinge count by weight, locking points by sash height.
  4. 04
    Review the accessories list on the order line; override only the exceptions.

Common mistakes

  • Overriding hardware line by line for a whole project — if every order needs the same change, the rule set should change instead; ask your administrator.
