Choose a profile series

What this does

Selects the profile system the window is built from — which drives the available sash types, the cut-length formulas and the material cost.

Before you start

  • The frame dimensions are set.

Steps

  1. 01
    In the designer, open the profile selection.
  2. 02
    Pick the series — uPVC or aluminium, by supplier system.
  3. 03
    Choose the colour or foil finish.
  4. 04
    Save — cut lengths and the bill of materials recalculate for the chosen system.

Common mistakes

  • Switching series after detailed glass and hardware choices — review the whole drawing afterwards; dimensions survive, but system-specific options reset.
